Smackdown previews Money in the Bank

Image
Four of the Superstars who will compete in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match for a World Heavyweight Championship Contract Sunday all converged in tag team action on "ZackDown" as Intercontinental Champion Christian & United States Champion Santino Marella took on Dolph Ziggler & Cody Rhodes. Christian mixed it up with old foe Cody Rhodes to kick off the match, and after a fast-paced back-and-forth exchange, Christian tagged Santino into the fray. The move incited Rhodes to loudly declare that he wanted "nothing to do with" the U.S. Champion, and the second-generation Superstar quickly tagged in Ziggler so The Showoff and The Milan Miracle could face off.   Momentum swung between the two teams until Ziggler, looking to prove that he’s one of WWE’s elite Superstars come Money in the Bank, took advantage of an opening afforded to him after Santino came up empty with a Cobra strike thanks to a disturbance by Rhodes. Christian quickly ente...

Traveling in a limousine, the three were rear-ended as they were transported from Comic-Con : International at the San Diego Convention Center. "It was a quiet ride since Dolph and I don’t get along. "Divas Champion Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix"

"Divas Champion Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix" Furious following two consecutive pay-per-view defeats at the hands of Divas Champion Kelly Kelly, Beth Phoenix will once again challenge the blonde bombshell for the butterfly-emblazoned title at WWE Hell in a Cell this Sunday. Ever since defeating Brie Bella for the Divas Championship in June, Kelly has been a woman on a mission, out to prove to her detractors that her in-ring abilities are just as awe-inspiring as her physical beauty. However, Kelly Kelly’s first-ever Divas Title triumph only raised the ire of Beth Phoenix & Natalya, two powerful female competitors out to vanquish the “Cinderellas” of the sports-entertainment world. Beth & Natalya have intimidated the Divas division for months now, all the while keeping Kelly Kelly and the Divas Championship in their sights. After Kelly Kelly pulled out an incredible upset victory over The Glamazon at SummerSlam, many members of the WWE Universe assumed that a fired-up ...

Randy unleashes HELL on Rhodes just 8days from HELL IN A CELL

The WWE production team edited the aftermath of the Orton-Rhodes match in such a way that made the graphic scene suitable for airing on a PG-rated program. Having watched the incident fully, I can tell you that it was a gruesome sight. After Orton was disqualified for using Rhodes’ facemask as a weapon, he smashed Rhodes in the head with the ring bell, causing blood to gush out of the Intercontinental Champion’s head like a faucet. Rhodes’ face quickly became the proverbial crimson mask, and puddles of blood were all over the ringside area. Rhodes’ blood also was smeared on the body of Orton, who cleaned himself off with a towel that had been handed to him by a WWE crew member. 05:48 The blood – while unintentional – clearly added to the drama and intensity of Orton’s attack on Rhodes. Orton looked like the psychotic, dangerous Viper of old, which makes his rematch with World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry in a Hell in a Cell Match on pay-per-view on Oct. 2 even more compelling....
